Sylvaner Grand Cru Zotzenberg

Coming from very old vines (over 50 years old) on the area at the utmost East of the Grand Cru (exposed south/south-east) and taking advantage of a quick warming of the morning sun, this terroir allows the Sylvaner to brighten up fully. Its particular complexity and richness make it an unique wine which ages very well.

It is produced in small quantities and so sometimes out of stock.

Availability : 6 bottles per person maximum.

Riesling Grand Cru Zotzenberg

Located on the high area of the Zotzenberg our Riesling vineyards enjoy a perfect exposure of the plot very warm all day long and cooler at night.

This alternation favours a slow and complete maturation of the grape. The marl chalky terroir to which it belongs expresses itself in this great wine through intense citrus fruit aromas. Its powerful body, its complexity and its minerality make it a great gastronomic wine.

Very good storage.

Unavoidable in a good cellar.

Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Zotzenberg

Our Gewurztraminer are planted on the central part of the Zotzenberg which is the most clayey one. This heavy plot, hard to work, but which retains wetness very well produces a Gewurztraminer with intense aromas of rose and spices.

Its richness, its power and its generosity are the expression of the nobility of the terroir it comes from. Great wine for aperitif, for dessert it accompanies also wonderfully foie gras. It is a wine of good storage.
